About EDC
The Entrepreneurship development cell (EDC) was started on 06-08-2014 with the aim of promoting specialized knowledge in field of entrepreneurship development. In view of worldwide shortage of jobs leading to unemployment problems and lack of proper utilization of human resources.The EDC strives to identify talented candidate to entrepreneurial works. The cell plans to organize various programmes to identified students and surrounding youth’s regarding entrepreneurship development.
Objectives of the cell
(a)Creating awareness among the students of Cheran College of engineering and the educated unemployed youth in and around the college regarding entrepreneurship as a career option.
(b)Conduct training programmes in the field of entrepreneurial skill development.
(c)Provide guidance and facilities to first time entrepreneurs during gestation.
